I. Gandhi Medical Secondary School of Ashgabat is pleased to announce the admission of citizens of Turkmenistan
Since 2024, the school has
been offering a one-year General Care Program aimed at preparing qualified
Nursing Assistants capable of providing basic nursing care and personal
assistance to elderly individuals in need of support, hospitalized patients,
and people with chronic conditions leading to disability. The program also
equips graduates with the skills necessary to assist family members by
performing essential nursing procedures in home-care settings.
Throughout the academic year,
students receive both theoretical instruction and practical clinical training
at leading healthcare institutions, including the Emergency Medical Service
Center, the International Trauma Center, the International Burn Treatment
Center, the Scientific and Clinical Oncology Center, the S.A. Niyazov Treatment
and Consultation Center, and the Scientific and Clinical Center for Maternal
and Child Health. During the program, students acquire knowledge and practical
skills in infection prevention and hygiene, medical documentation, professional
ethics and deontology, compassionate and patient-centered care, basic nursing
procedures, and the provision of first aid and emergency care.
Graduates who successfully
complete the program and pass the State Examinations are awarded a Diploma of
Primary Medical Education.

Period: 15 July – 25 August 2026
Entrance
Examinations: The entrance examinations will
be held from 26 to 28 August 2026 at the I. Gandhi Medical Secondary School of
Ashgabat (Ashgabat, Turkmenistan). Applicants will be examined in the
following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, History of Turkmenistan
Citizens residing in Arkadag
City, Ashgabat City, and all velayats (regions) of Turkmenistan are eligible to
participate in the entrance examinations.
